Front views of the Belgian made WH breast eagle both on very dark green and green background. One can clearly see the difference in the background colour of both eagles. Some collectors see the very dark green as “black” and will name them “panzer” eagles. But the green threads at the cutting edge are cleary green.
When we put the green and very dark green eagles side by side , we see that there is a difference in size : the green eagle has a wing span of 80 - 82 mm , the very dark green eagle has a wing span of 90 - 92 mm. The height of both eagles is exactly 40 mm.
